&lt;div&gt;CITP (controller interface transfer protocol) was designed to ensure cross product communication between lighting consoles and visualizers. It was originally created for [[Capture]] but later evolved into an open protocol that now also includes media servers. CITP is not a real-time show control protocol, its purpose is to facilitate communication between the products involved in the show during preproduction.&lt;br /&gt;
